Work - classroom teacher at THA as well as with Congregation Anshei Israel as their USY and Madrichim Coordinator.
THA taught me the importance of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world. Throughout each year at THA, there was an emphasis on giving back to the community. One of my most cherished memories was when the eighth graders volunteered at Casa Maria Soup Kitchen. As a class, we put together over a hundred sandwiches and helped hand out food to people in need. Being able to hear the stories of the people who ate the food made our whole class appreciate what we did and understand the importance of giving back. This understanding is why I feel so lucky to give back to THA by teaching here and instilling this same value with my THA students.
In my spare time, I love to cook and bake.
