Admissions, waitlist & Enrollment

We are excited that you are considering Tucson Hebrew Academy. During the admissions process, your family will complete five steps:

Step 1: Schedule a school visit.

Step 2: Complete the student application.

Step 3: Apply for financial aid.

Step 4: Student Shadow Day

During the student visit, your child will be introduced to an age-appropriate classroom and will spend time getting to know our community. This is a wonderful way for our school to get to know your child and allow them to see THA “in action”.

Depending on their age, the day will be spent as follows:

  • PreK applying for Kindergarten: Your student will receive an invitation to a Sunday morning Kindergarten Readiness Playdate. Durning the visit, your student will participate in classroom activities and meet future classmates and teachers.

  • Kindergarten applying for 1st Grade: (7:55am - 12pm): Your student will spend a half day with our kindergarten class. During the visit your student will participate in classroom activities and electives.

  • 1st-8th Grade (Full School Day): Your student will spend a full day with a classroom. During the visit your student will participate in classroom activities, electives, and lunch.

Step 5: Admissions Decision

Admissions to THA are awarded on a rolling basis, with the largest round of admissions decisions being made in the spring semester.

Families will be notified of acceptance via electronic letter. Following the acceptance letter, a time-sensitive, digital contract will be issued for parent signatures.
